Alison Rostron is a qualified teacher and established The Alison Rostron School of Massage in 1992, offering professional training in Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology.
The courses follow the International Therapy Examination Council (I.T.E.C.) syllabus for each category and students are prepared for the relevant I.T.E.C. examination.

Students work in a fully equipped teaching studio, and classes are usually limited in size to no more than twelve people, which allows for intensive tuition and close practical supervision. Apart from the group sessions, students are also offered individual help and advice where necessary, as well as close support from Alison and her fellow tutors.

One of the principal aims of the school has always been to provide students with friendly yet professional tuition in relaxed surroundings. Experience has shown that this is conducive not only to academic study but also to the acquisition of the practical skills involved in massage-related therapies.
